Malbridge House

We’ve joined the realms of the TV licencing public again. We’ve been without a TV for just over two years, it was our choice, I got fed up with watching rubbish, not hearing the Tv because of talking children and not seeing it because of children standing in the way. Lately we’ve been hearing a lot about Strictly come Dancing and X Factor, the children have been asking about having TV again.

I think the clincher was when we asked Callum what he wanted for Xmas and he said a TV again, as my heartstrings pinged, I looked at Malc and the eye communication was "Oh Dear!"

So we’ve got it, we were going to carefully monitor it, but that’s gone out the window and it’s been on all weekend! We’ve got music channels, I have listened and watched all the top 40 singles, do they still call them "singles"?

Anyway I now know what all the pop stars look like, I am officially the hippest Mum in Dorset!!

Malc and I have discovered " Extreme makeover" The house one not the body one!!

Eastenders is just as if I’ve not missed one episode I’m sorry to say! Some of the same people in but I can’t honestly say that it’s improved any!

I’m knitting more because I’m sat down more watching it, so I don’t think that’s such a bad thing, I’m relaxing more and not running around in the evenings catching up with things, which I think can only be a good thing, I need to relax more.

Anyway, now I’ve got a TV Licence I’m going to make sure I get my moneys worth, so I’m off to flick through a few channels an see what delights I can watch this evening!
