Malbridge House

It would be sunny today, Bank Holiday is over, it rained here by the way. Malc has gone back to work, workbooks are out, now the sun shines. Today we had haircuts booked in for this afternoon as well so we couldn’t go out anywhere. The good news is that the lovely weather should continue for the rest of the week.

So I’m hoping to go to a local park that has loads of ducks and geese that you can feed, Upton Park, where there are lots of peacocks, we did have albino ones but unfortunately they were stolen a couple of months ago!

I would also like to go to the beach, all this is so that we can take some pictures of our flats for when we send them back, we’ve only got schoolwork, at Grandmas and not a lot else, so this will be a good opportunity to build sandcastles with flats, feed ducks with flats. After all Dorset is renowned for our lovely beaches.

There is also an area called "Sandbanks"  about 7 miles from us for those of you who don’t know it’s a millionaires property area, very, very posh, my Mum suggested parking up and standing outside one of the lovely houses with the flats and pretending that it’s our house. The only trouble with that is when they "google earth" our address, they’ll be in for a bit of a shock.

So, today, Eden, Cal and Clark wrote a letter to their Nanny in Essex as an English exercise, I read a chapter of "Chocky"  and then Clark and Cal read their ORT books to me.

Clark practised some handwriting, and then I let them all go out in the garden, they were bursting to get out. We tend to stock up on work during drab, wet days so that we can enjoy sunny days. They built an assault course and ran round that.

My Mum came up and had lunch with us, then the hairdresser came, my sister turned up with a friend, so it was a busy household.

Mum took Cal and Clark back with her, Malc arrived home and we had tea, Eden’s at Guides, Malc will pick the two boys and her up about 8-30 ish.

Because of the Bank Holiday we forgot to do our Sketch Tuesdays, well we kept remembering them and then forgetting, so by the time we remembered yesterday it was getting late and they didn’t get done. Next week though, something red or orange, let’s see what they can do with that.

Todays smoothie wasn’t very liked, we did orange juice, 2 oranges, 1 lime and 1 lemon, I think I drank most of it, never mind, another day another recipe!
