Good news

Firstly this afternoon whilst we were cutting the lawn our nasty neighbours went by smirking, I could take it no longer and rang Environmental Health to find out where they were in their investigation, only to find it ended four weeks ago, we were found to be completely innocent of the charges and the investigation has ended, the man apologised because nobody had told us, but I was so elated that I really didn’t care. The man that handled our case is going to ring me on Monday to let me know exactly what they did and why we haven’t had a letter. So we are over the moon, we didn’t think that we were noisey but part of you think " what if ?"

So today I’m a really happy bunny!

Camping, we went away last weekend to our lovely favourite campsite,Mum had bought a porch awning to go on the caravan for her to sleep in, so we set up, or rather Malc did whilst Mum and I drank Lambrini, well OK two bottles of Lambrini, for some reason everything that anybody did was very, very funny!!

Saturday saw torrential rain all day, we all sat in the caravan, five children and three adults, thankfully we took the portable TV and DVD, but we couldn’t get a signal to watch TV and ended up watching "High School Musical" about four times! I’m still whistling the songs nearly a week later!

The porch got a bit wet so Mum slept in the caravan with us on the Saturday night, and boy can she snore! Sorry Mum!

Woke up Sunday to lovely weather, we could sit outside the children could go and play again. Apparently a couple of tents were a bit wet and the worse for wear after all the rain during the night.

Mum went home on the Sunday morning, so I spent the day cleaning the caravan whilst the children were playing, getting all the muddy marks off everything! We came home on Monday morning.

I have spent nearly two hours today cleaning the carpet, the walls, the shower and the windows of the caravan, it was filthy, oh the joys of camping!

The first picture is of the showers and loos on site, the second and third ones are of our caravan with some woman sitting outside, Lord knows who she is!

Tuesday morning we went to a workshop at our local library, they had some puppeteers there, they were brilliant, they acted out the first part of "Jason and the Argonaurts" Then the children made their own puppets for each groups scene and the story was narrated whilst the children were behind the screen with their shadow puppets. Incidentally they home-edded their own children, I would thoroughly recommend them, they were great with the children and made things seem really simple. We had a great time.

The rest of the week has been spent catching up on housework, ironing, cleaning the caravan as I said earlier. We’re not away this weekend so I hope to catch up on a few more things, or we might just o out somewhere nice and take the dogs on a long walk. I’ll let you know.
