Busy, busy, busy
It’s a luxury to get on the computer nowadays, we’ve been so busy.
Cody’s still limping on his bad leg, on Thursday his leg was completely giving way about every fifth step, but so far today it’s given way about three times.
Oh, I’ve not explained how he did it, he tripped over his own feet in his bedroom, I was really shocked when the hospital said that they thought it was broken, apparently what they thought was the fracture line turned out to be a bloodvessel!!
Cody has also been under investigation for a heart murmur, it was heard six months ago by our GP, during an appointment for something else. He had an ECG and that was normal, it has taken six months to get an appointment through for an ultrasound, his referal letter got lost!
So on Friday the cardiologist listened to his chest and said he couldn’t hear it any more, did the ultrasound and it was perfect, so if he ever had one it has healed itself which is good news.
Friday afternoon we took the caravan out to the campsite that we stayed at a few weeks ago,we were next to a family with six children all roughly the same age as ours, there were two small children next to them and two girls the same age as Eden and Clark the other side of us, so we had fifteen children playing together whilst the four sets of really bad parents sat around drinking cider and swapping life experiences! We had the best time.
On Saturday we went to the local R.S.P.C.A funday, there was dog shows and horse events going on, we were there all day, there was so much to watch.
I’ve got pictures but they’re going to have to wait because I’ve not downloaded them yet.
We’re going away again so I’ve spent the last two days doing seven loads of washing, drying it and ironing it.
Thank goodness we’ve had good weather!
What with shopping today, I’ve been so busy.
HE, I hear you ask? Well we work all year round, we don’t usually have Half Term or Summer holidays, we lighten the load a little but we don’t completely stop, on the advice of a couple of people and because of the stress of the ongoing noise investigation and Codys leg we’ve decided to take four weeks off. The childrens LEA reports were brilliant so I think we deserve it.
Saying that the children have been making cards as we have a lot of birthdays in July, Daddys and Grandmas are on the same day this weekend so banners have been made. I don’t think you can stop HE , it’s just goes on naturally!
