Catching up!
This seems to be the story of my life at the moment, catching up on washing, ironing, blogging, housework.
I thought that by having a few weeks break from HE that things wouldn’t be so rushed and I would feel less stressed, but over the last couple of days I have felt my stress levels rise. So much to do, I never seem to catch up and do extra jobs around the house, just the " maintainence " jobs, hoovering, washing up, the childrens wardrobes really need turning out, they’ve all got clothes hanging in them that are now to small, which I should be passing down to the next child. Windows haven’t been cleaned in months, I was talkin to Malc this morning and I said I don’t know where it’s all going wrong, I use to HE when Soloman was a small baby, I managed, my home was clean and tidy, now I tidy the lounge and two hours later it looks like a bomb has hit it! I’m so tired all the time, I’m not motivated, I have so many ideas and there’s just not enough time to fit everything in. I think I’ll do one extra little job a day but it just gets carried over to the next day and then the next.
I’m going to try and write down what I want to achieve and find someway to see if I can manage my time better.
I had a chat with ther children this morning about continually picking up after them, it stays in their heads for 24 hours and then we’re back to usual.
So any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.
I’m probably going to have to do a couple of posts because I’ve got about ten days to catch up on. It’s not that I don’t want to post every couple of days, it’s that I’m just not getting the time.
So Sunday 3rd August we found ourselves here.
They had a dog show , not a proper posh one, but the novelty variety, waggiest tail, prettiest bitch, that sort of thing. They had several stalls, and the rescue centre is set in lovely countryside with lots of fields, we went with Mum and my sister and her little boy, the weather wasn’t great but we had a good time.
Then on Wednesday 6th August we went here Regular readers will know we go there quite a lot, the funday was quite good, but children being children, especially mine, just wanted to climb trees again! We went with a friend and her three boys.
Then Thursday I packed a bag and lots of food for our weekend camping trip, which I will hopefully tell you all about tomorrow night!
