Busy in the sunshine
Yesterday morning was spent making Fathers Day cards, can’t post any pictures because Daddy might read my blog before Sunday. He reads it sometimes because he likes to see what I write about him because he likes what I have to say!!
Mum came up at dinnertime and took Callum, Clark and Soloman home with her, I think they washed her car for her. My sister also popped over for an hour.
Mum brought the children back and stayed for tea. Malc was late home yet again. For some reason the 4-50pm bus isn’t running some days which means he takes nearly 1 1/2 hours to travel about 5 miles.
I took Eden to Guides and then went to see one of my nice neighbours for 10 mins and ended up staying for over an hour, chatting away so much that I nearly forgot that Eden had to be picked up. Malc went to get her whilst I watered the veg and hanging baskets.
We went shopping early this morning.
Last summer we went to Corfe Castle to a Saxon weekend and met a lady with five children, hers are the other way round to us, 1 boy and 4 girls. This morning she was parked next to me at Asdas and asked if it was me and did I remember her, which I did, she’s had another baby, another girl, 5 months old, sometimes it’s such a small world.
Got home, unpacked and had some lunch. The children have spent this afternoon making decorations for Malcs and my 13th wedding anniversary tomorrow, goodness only knows what my lounge is going to look like tomorrow, it’ll involve a lot of banners and confetti by the sneaky peak I took.
Mum came up for tea, the bus was running this evening so Malc was on time. After tea Mum looked after the children and Malc and I along with the chukka took the dogs over the fields, it was quite busy over there this evening. I’ve got to pack away all the ironing that I did earlier, shower and then bed I think, apparently the children have said they’re getting up at 5-30am to make us breakfast in bed before Daddy goes to work. Lovely!!
