We’ve met the “real” Father Christmas.
As we all know at this time of year there are a lot of pretend Santas around, at the shopping centres, at the Church Fayre, places like that. Well we met the real Father Christmas here.We usually go here, as the children don’t have parties at school with him visiting we try to make the effort so that the younger children can see him.
This year we had said that we wouldn’t go because of finances with Malc being made redundant.
After talking to a friend who went last weekend who said that "the santa" was brilliant we juggled a bit and decided to go.
Lordy me was it worth it, he was smashing. He even had his own white beard and not a fake one. He was brilliant with the children, they all got lovely presents, you choose them as you go in. You could take as many pictures as you wanted yourself. In fact at the end of his chat with the children he asked if we had a camera and told us to snap away.
I would like to say a big Thankyou to Fi, she’ll know why.
I don’t think I’m going to have time to blog tomorrow, stuffing turkey and all that!!
So I would like to wish everybody who reads my blog a Merry Christmas and peaceful New Year.
