Varying degrees of sniffles!
Cough and sneezes spread diseases!
Tell me about it, most of us are still ill. Malc went to the doctors on Tuesday, he has a chest infection. He scared me to death, he was wheezing so much I thought that he was going to have an asthma attack! So he’s on antibiotics and steroids at the moment. Eden came down with a sore throat and headache and has spent most of the last 48 hours on the sofa ( If only!!)
The youngest three boys seem to be recovering, they’re all left with coughs though.
I’ve now had this a total of three times and it’s getting very boring indeed. I seem to get better, be better for about four or five days and then come down with it again.
We’ve been staying in, some work has been done but we’re on a lighter load. Quite honestly if they were at school they would be off and doing nothing.
The thing that’s really getting me down is the constant bickering and grizzling, and that’s just me and Malc.
I spent this morning doing loads of cooking, apple and blackberry pie, apple and saltana pie with a splash of Brandy, purely medicinal you understand.
A chicken pie and some mince pies to freeze for Christmas.
My Mum rang this morning feeling very unwell, the Doctor has been and pronounced a chest infection, so she’s coming here later and staying the night so I can do my Florence Nightingale bit, probably without her patience! So that’ll be another sofa taken up!
Thank goodness we’ve got the TV, just in the nick of time. It takes their mind of arguing for ten minutes at a time.
So although I’ve done quite a bit towards Christmas we’re not particularly feeling festive at the moment. I hope to put the tree up early next week., maybe that will help!
So I leave you feeling very snuffly, blocked up and determined to go on, let’s face it, do I have a choice?
Blogring:

Hope you all feel better soon. Josh and Ellie have had the “lurgy” too this week and it went straight to Josh’s chest and flared up his asthma. I am expected to sucumb to it over the weekend when we are hoping to move lol!!
Sending get well soon wishes your way!!

Oh, you poor things! I hate the illnesses that keep mutating into the next thing. Sometimes I feel like we are The Breeding Ground for New and Unusual Strains. I guess you have taken the torch for a while. So, do I give you thanks for taking over, or sympathy for feeling bad?
Seriously, I hope this is the worst of it and you spend the rest of the winter in good health.

Oh dear, I hope you;re all feeling better soon. We had a bad bout of coughs and sneezes a couple of weeks ago and it was very resilient - very hard to shift.
