Rimini. 30th August 1995 - 17th May 2008
Today, our lovely, fluffy Rimini was put to sleep. She was 13 years and 9 months old so she did well. She’s been going a bit senile for the last few months, her back legs have given out a few times. This happened last night and Malc and I had a talk and decided that this was the right thing to do for her.
It didn’t make it any easier knowing that though. We thought with having the other dogs that we wouldn’t notice she was gone but we were wrong, we do.
Rimini was a link to our past life, before children, when my Dad was alive and my parents visited for the weekend.
It’s up to my Dad to look after her now, in a place where they can both run and neither of them are in pain. Aaa Cha Cha Rimini.

Blogring:

Oh, I’m so sorry about Rimini! I just had to sell my sweet horse and it was heartbreaking and I didn’t even have those generational ties. There is such a strong bond between us and our pets– how lucky we are to have them! All the best to all of you in this hard time.
