Sketch Tuesday

My computer has been playing up all day, so I’ve had to wait for Malc to come home to have a look at it, thank fully he’s done something very complicated I’m sure and it’s fine now!!

So I’m just going to do a quick run down of the day because I want to get to bed, we’re up about 6ish now and I’m an absolute bitch if I don’t get 8 hours sleep, I prefer 10!

Malc left at 6-45 am, by 8-45 the children and I had hoovered through, washed all the floors, washed up and sorted the kitchen. We even changed two beds, we try and do one every day here, as we’ve got so many!

Malc use to do them because he can put the cover on the top end of the duvet, flick it and it’s done whereas I have to get half in it, try and put the corner of the duvet in the corner of the cover and get in a right pickle, so the children and I devised a plan of them holding a corner and me pulling the thing on with them holding it out flat, it worked anyway!

Eden, Callum and Clark did some maths each, and then Callum and Clark read me their books whilst Eden did some science questions.

I read a chapter of "Chocky".

Because we were up so early Cody was asleep again by 10-30am, he usually sleeps during the afternoon, so if it stays this way it will be better for us, because we tend to work in the mornings.

We had some lunch when he woke and then I made Crofters Pie for tea, Callum made some choc chip muffins and Eden made a cheesecake.

We had a quiet afternoon, I was planning on us all going for a walk with the dogs, but it’s teemed down all afternoon, so I decided it wasn’t worth it.

We saw Malc coming up the road and the children ran halfway down it to meet him, nearly knocked him off his feet, they were asking all day what time he would be home, Bless!!

We had tea and I took Eden to Guides, Callum went round to Mums whilst she was there, Malc went to pick them both up.

I’m getting a bit worried about our flats, we’re getting emails with lovely photos in of all these interesting places our flats have been, and we’ve not done a lot at all, so I’m hoping the weekend’s weather is going to be nice so we can go somewhere and take some pics.

Talking of pics, here’s the childrens Sketch Tuesdays,: Umbrellas
