LEA Visit.
Well it’s over, for another year at least.
He was here for 3 hours in the end, we still didn’t cover all the work that they’d done, so he hadn’t better put in his report that there wasn’t a high volume of work to look at! He also said we are the only ones in his area who HE three children, a few do two, so I’m quite proud of that!
The children were quite well behaved. Cody fell asleep about an hour after he got here so that was good.
I was shattered this afternoon, relief I think!
I’ve just done Malcs sandwiches for work tomorrow, I haven’t done that job for ages and ages. Thats going to be challenging, finding different sandwich fillings so he doesn’t get bored! I hate sandwiches, unless they’re prawn with rose marie sauce anyway!
I’ve just put all the children finished work in a big plastic box which we keep it in, so their files are empty for us to start all over again!
We’re all going to have an early night ( in theory anyway) because we’re up early tomorrow, Malc will be leaving at 6-50am to catch the bus.
Got to go, Eden wants to do her blog and we’ve got to send through their Sketch Tuesdays too.
Blogring:

Gald things turned out well.

It’s quite draining when you think the time it takes to get it ‘ready’ but i liked our LEA visits, we had a nice chap. I think it’s worth it, my kids loved him visitng.
it’s nice too, to think it’s all fresh to start again and all the old stuff gets packed away ready for the new…my chin is beginning to wobble now
Hope Malc, gets on OK with his first day at work

Only ever had one visit in 7 years and it was a disaster ( a blog post in itself lol) so glad yours went well

Why do you choose to have the visits if they aren’t required? Just seems an exercise in how stressed you can make yourself!
How did the 1st day go?

Hi Elizabeth, we have the visits because I didn’t realise that we didn’t have to for the first two and now the children love showing their work off, the man is actually very nice, I might stop them in the future, but we’re OK for now.
