By God, He’s got a job!
Malc has got a job, after being made redundant by the Jobcentre, 16 months ago, actually 2 weeks before Cody was due, no stress there then! I’m not kidding you, I’ve lost count of the jobs that he’s applied to, the interviews that he’s been too, but it’s paid off.
He starts on Tuesday, Monday to Thursday all day and then half day on Friday. Hurrah.
I’m going to miss not having him under my feet him helping me with the children.I’m going to lose my teaching assistant.
So after dancing roound the lounge shrieking congratulating him, we got on with the day.
I read a chapter of Chocky, then we made our smoothie, 1 lemon, 1 lime, 2 bananas and pineapple juice, scrummy!
Mum came up and had some lunch with us, she then took Eden, Callum and Clark home with her and they did some gardening, they’ve been mowing, strimming and planting flowers out. She brought them back at 4 pm as they had to get changed for Beavers and book club.
Did my taxi-ing bit, whilst Eden was at bookclub I stayed at the library to start writing out what the children have accomplished this year and what we hope to do in the next 12 months for the LEA.
Got home and had tea, everything’s so late on a Friday because of their clubs, the evening has gone before you know it.
Eden took lots of photos of the flats at bookclub, the other girls there thought it was great. I’ll post some photos tomorrow, I’ve neither the energy nor the inclination to do it tonight!

Great news! Roarke lost his job when I was pregnant with Josh and only got one the week Josh was born! Then had to have all that time off…. ;0)
