Where do I start?
Today has been so busy, it started with our LEA contact ringing and asking to come and see us at the beginning of next week, we were due to have a visit in January, so I can’t complain. The children are excited, they love our contact.
We did some work on St George and the Dragon from this website www.kellscraft.com/stgeorge.html
I used this a couple of years ago for Eden, she remembered quite a lot of it, so I went over the story again, broke it down for Clark, it’s got old fashioned language in it. Then we printed off some pictures from here www.thecolouringspot.com/images/medieval/knight-armor-sword-shield.jgp and from here http://www.eparenting.co.uk/colouringpages/stgeorgesdaycolouring.shtml. Callum and Clark coloured them in and we put them in order with a sentence on each sheet, stapled them together and bobs your Uncle!!
We also went here www.st-george-church.org/English/St_Georges_Life_part-1.htm to get another story about him for Eden as she knew the Dragon legend.
Eden wrote about St George in her own words, it’s over on her blog if you would like to see it, I thought it was very good. ( But I’m bias!) We’ve printed off a copy to send back with Bratz.
Had lunch, Callum volunteered to do some ironing for me, I had the iron and board set up in record time I said if he was sure he wanted to do some. Eden and I made fruity buns and choc chip muffins, then I went over some work that Edens taken with her to Grandmas tonight as she’s staying. Flat Bratz is with her, so Lord only know how many photos we’ll get back tomorrow and where they’ll be taken, I’m seriously worried will have one of Bratz sitting on the loo soon. They think up the weirdest scenarios going!
I took Eden to Mums, and brought Clark back with me as he’d gone shopping with Mum after dinner, I forgot to mention that! Picked up some lovely, long bamboo canes that she doesn’t want so watch this space for pictures of my runner beans planted out, as soon as it stops raining too.
Took a couple of pictures of our caravan, we decided to make another flat, Flat Caravan, it’s the only way our caravan’s going abroad with the amount of dogs we’ve got, doggy passports don’t come cheap.
We’ve sent this weeks Sketch Tuesdays in, I couldn’t take very good photos because they did their pictures horizontally not vertically, bad workman ,blames tools and all that!
They had to do "something in your closet"
I didn’t realise Eden had one of these in hers!
Clarks with his clothes hung up
Callums with his clothes hung up too.
I filled in Bratz journal, Edens going to do it tomorrow as she has had Bratz overnight, I expect they’ll be mentions of midnight feasts and all sorts.
We made our smoothie today, 2 oranges, 2 kiwis, 1 pear and apple juice, it wasn’t bad, it got a score of 7 out of 10. You had to swirl it a lot as it kept separating and didn’t look very appetising, but it did taste better then it looked!
Callum read his book to me, we’ve changed it for him, he reads it twice and as long as I think he understands it and he’s reading with hardly any mistakes we go to the next one.

Blogring:

Love the kids pics, at least they are all different, Tom decided to do a coathanger, then Annie had to do one too.
Obviously my kids don’t own any clothes, I should be thankful, they didn’t pull something going mouldy in the bottom lol!

Oh you do make me laugh - the ironing board was really funny and you’ll have to post more flat pics!
