The Flat’s have left the Building.

I should retitle this post," How to Survive on Hardly any Sleep!" Clark was up every hour from 11pm until 4am, then he came in our bed and just cried for nearly an hour until the Calpol kicked in, Malc got into Codys bed so that he could get some sleep, then he got up with the little ones so that I could lay-in and catch up on some sleep, it worked really well. Hopefully we should catch up tonight.

Clark still wasn’t right this morning so he stayed in his PJ’s and we did the unthinkable, the children curled up on the sofa under a blanket and watched a video, Cody has been screaming crying for most of the day, I think his back teeth are coming through, he did not want to be put down, so either Malc or I have had to hold him.

I made some cheese scones yesterday, there are ten in a batch and they lasted all our an hour, so I made a double batch this morning, honestly, my lot are going to look like cheese scones soon! I also made some of these.

Mufins

And I finished off this.

Soloman's b'day cake

Mum came up and had some lunch with us, Malc went to the post office to send of our flat, I did want us all to walk down there and have a leaving ceremony, but there were too many grizzling children to even think about it!

We spent the afternoon making Solomans birthday cards for tomorrow whilst he had his afternoon nap.

Then I took Callum to Beavers, Eden to Bookclub, chose a couple of library books, went to pick Callum back up and then went back to get Eden.

I’ve spent this evening wrapping presents, catching up on emails, I’m waiting for anybody to contact me saying they want us to host their flat, nothing yet! I’ll keep you posted.

  1. Poor Clark, hope he feels better soon, and Cody too! Your baking, as always is impressive :D
