Flats. We have liftoff…..
Well, I thought it was funny, our flats are off tomorrow, well one of them is, I posted on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flat_travelers_homeschool/ and we’ve recieved a reply from The Fitzgeralds, who live in Tennessee, they’re going to let me know whether they want Dorset Apple cake or Christmas Tree. We’re all very excited and we’re going to google earth them later/tomorrow to see if we can find where they are.
We all went over the fields today with the dogs for a bit of exercise, it was so sunny, got to make the most of it while we can.
Did our weekly shop, I was going to take a picture of all the bags on my kitchen floor before we packed them away, but the camera hasn’t got panaramic view!!
Callum and Clark stayed down Grandmas to help her pack away some shopping, and they planted a rose bush and some bulbs (Iris)
She bought them back at tea-time and stayed for tea herself.
I tried to teach Eden how to work out 10% of something, but we were being constantly interrupted, the baby was crying, so we’ve shelved it for another day. It’s not something you can teach with so much going on around you, I’ll try and find some quiet time for us to do it together, she’s now doing science crosswords again, she loves doing them, she’s got about six left and wants to try and finish the book tonight.
I did find time to glue her some new nails on though, she took the other ones off and her nails have grown so much underneath, she’s been so helpful this past week doing jobs for me that I said I’d treat her. If it helps her to stop biting her nails so much the better
